To edit the video, we used 'Final Cut Pro' on the Apple Mac computers provided.

this is what comes up when the video camera is plugged in. To upload the footage, you hit playon the video camera and press 'capture' in the bottom right corner on thios window. then press the escape key when all the footage is captured.

it will then appear on the left hand side listed as 'untitled' for you to name as you wish. when double-clicked, the footage will appear in a window next to it as shown. to select parts of the footage you wish to use, use the marker icons at the bottom of the window that are slightly to the left to flag out a star and finish point of the footage. then you drag it onto the timeline at the bottom.
there is also video transitions that can be selected on the left hand side, by clicing the efects tab and then clicking on transitions.

This is the timeline. this is where you put your selected footage onto by drag and drop. with some videos its important to get the lip sync just right and aligned with the track, however our video did not need that treatment, we just had to make what was happening in the video fit in with the lyrics, as there was no singing or rapping from the cast.

the footage created on the timeline appears on here when played. if a music track is included, this will also play along with the video.
